Wellness is a choice every community deserves.

Three pillars, one whole and healthy person.
Body
Education on nutrition and exercise that helps prevent depression, disease and obesity — building healthy habits that last a lifetime.
Mind

Spirit
Nurturing self-esteem and dignity — because healthier people are happier, more productive people who uplift their whole community.
A force for positive action.
Founded in 2011 by Executive Director Jason Katz, C.H.O.I.C.E. is a federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization that aims to reduce and prevent unhealthy habits and disease by inspiring, nurturing and educating children and families to make healthy choices.
Our seminars and workshops are currently accessible throughout Florida, with plans to expand nationally and globally — bringing together our partners, students and community to collectively help each other evolve.
"Collectively we make a difference."
Inspiring healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Established in 2011 by Founder and Executive Director Jason Katz, CHOICE is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to inspiring, nurturing and fostering wellness in communities by educating underprivileged individuals about health, nutrition and exercise and encouraging respect for the body, mind and spirit.
CHOICE seminars and workshops are currently accessible throughout Florida, with plans to expand nationally and globally. Our focus is on the importance of making lifestyle choices that lead to a more productive and healthy life. CHOICE information, blogs, nutritional tools and recipes are made available to everyone on choice-foundation.org.
We believe that understanding the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and achieving physical and mental wellness increases self-esteem, decreases national healthcare costs and enhances quality of life for the communities we serve. By working with community leaders, schools and other fitness organizations, CHOICE will attain its goal of making a major difference for generations to come.
Five ways we serve the community.
Our People
Our highly professional and experienced instructors are the heart of our program. Their passion for enhancing physical and mental wellness drives our ability to establish healthy lifestyles. Every day, we connect with, learn with, and uplift the people we teach.
Our Seminars
Health problems including depression, disease and obesity are increasing at alarming rates. Our interactive workshops and seminars help diminish these risks by encouraging people to make better choices every day — improving how they think, feel, act and look.
Our Community
Healthy people are happier, more productive people. We increase awareness about healthy living and educate individuals on making positive lifestyle changes — a force for positive action that helps decrease the financial burden of healthcare.
Our Partners
We are fully accountable to impact every life we touch so that CHOICE can continue to endure and thrive. Our success is measured by the lives we improve — and with that, we give back to our sponsors, partners and ourselves.
Our Grants
Individuals who achieve their goals in the CHOICE program may apply for a grant to further their education toward a healthcare career — nutritionist, personal trainer, physical education teacher and more. Grants are furnished upon board approval.
Knowledge that changes lives.
The primary goal of CHOICE is to educate underprivileged individuals, through our interactive seminars, on how to make lifestyle choices that will set them on a path for a more productive and healthy life. Ultimately we aim for our CHOICE program achievers to use the knowledge they have gained to make a positive impact on their lives and the lives of others.
Increasing Public Awareness
CHOICE has made it a top priority to increase public awareness about the benefits of embracing a healthy and active lifestyle as well as overall wellness. By working synergistically with community leaders, schools and other fitness organizations, CHOICE will attain its goals of making a big difference in our community and for generations to come.

Jason Katz
Jason brings more than twenty years of education and training in the healthcare and fitness industry. His desire to enrich the lives of others led to an extraordinary track record of service — in the U.S. Air Force Special Forces Unit, as a law enforcement officer, and as a medic/firefighter. While in the military he served a tour of duty in the Gulf War and sustained injuries making him a disabled veteran. His tenacity and passion for health and fitness drove him to earn the bodybuilding title of Mr. Florida All-Natural in 1997.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University. He has owned two fitness companies — The Circle of Life Fitness, Inc. and The Absolute Evolution, Inc. — transforming bodies, minds and spirits for over 20 years through personal fitness and nutrition instruction, post-rehabilitation training and motivational speaking. The Circle of Lifesaving, Inc. has certified thousands of people in CPR/AED, choking response, OSHA bloodborne-pathogens training, first aid, water safety and swim instruction.
Recognizing that health issues are especially prevalent in underprivileged communities, Jason began conducting seminars in local community and civic centers in 2011 — and the positive results led to the founding of the C.H.O.I.C.E. Foundation. Jason resides in Hollywood, Florida with his wife and two young sons.
